Vitazyme application:  Every week the treated flat was drenched with a 0.5% Vitazyme solution (0.5 oz/gallon of water), while the control flat was left untreated.

Survival rate, after 6 months:

Control: 61%
Vitazyme: 83% (+22 percentage points)

Control: 4
Vitazyme: 9 (+125%)

 

Average seedling height:

Control: 3.5 in
Vitazyme: 6.5 in (+86%)

 

Average trunk diameter, per tree:

Control: 0.0625 in
Vitazyme: 0.1250 in (+100%)

Fertilization:   All pots of both treatments received one tablespoon per gallon of Miracle-Gro Water Soluble Azalea, Camellia, and Rhododendron Plant Food every two months.
